Home-Based ABA Services
Home-Based ABA Services allow for one-on-one treatment in the comfort of your home. These services do not require transitions between locations or settings and create opportunities to increase family and caregiver involvement in ABA programming. Home-Based ABA Services can be convenient and provides a natural environment to address behavioral excesses and deficits.
Community-Based ABA Services
Community settings can be difficult to navigate for individuals that present behavioral barriers. CommunityBased ABA Services may be appropriate for individuals that need 1:1 support during a particular community based activity or event. These services advocate for inclusion of the individuals in the community setting in the degree to which they are able to participate. CommunityBased ABA Services is often collaborative with other community members within the targeted context and addresses behavioral excess and deficits that serve as barriers to the individual's participation.
School-Based ABA Services
School-Based ABA Services supports students by collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address specific behavioral excesses and deficits that negatively impact the individuals participation and learning within the school setting. School-Based ABA Services require a written agreement with the school district and classroom consultations to ensure collaboration between school staff, parents, and the BCBA prior to the onset of services within school.
BACB Supervised Fieldwork
BACB Supervised Fieldwork can be a daunting process. Borikén Behavioral Health offers supervision and consultation for BCBA and BCaBA candidates seeking certification. We work with a variety of curriculums and resources to ensure your professional development. We offer online and in-person supervision sessions. Please note that in-person supervision is limited to Alaska and Puerto Rico.
Parent Training
Parent Training is a requirement of many insurance providers is a typical part of ABA services. We understand that each family system is unique and requires individualized support. Parent Training empowers parents/caregivers to understand and manage their child's behaviors in a way that decreases behavioral excesses and increases skill acquisition for behavioral deficits. Parent Training not only gives parents the knowledge and tools to manage current behaviors but also to address novel behaviors they may encounter in the future.
